IMPROVEMENT OF MY PRACTICE
26/2/2010.
Advantages of continues documentation/sharing.
On my own assestment of my own practice, I found out that I can forget what I have done one or two days ago quickly if I don't put it down. Putting down (writting, documenting) of what I plan to do and had done is very important in that, it will remind me of the time to do when to do and what I had done successfully and failed to do.
I lerant in my practice since I started this programme (SCL) that learning is selft interest and can be quicker in groups, this way one can collect enough information on what to do. I found out that sharing in group made me to benefit and gaint on my daily practice. I learnt a lot when our facilitator introduce to me/us in the learning groups the ( assestment of present situation of an individuals, of what you are and what you want to do and how will you get there)

IMPROVEMENT OF MY PRACTICE
15/11/09.
How can I as a facilitator take care of the influence/effect(positive or negative of the gender issue on the learning of my students?
A learning group aimed at acheivable goal, willing participatory of every individual. In this case eveyone in the learning group has interest already, I as a facilitator will encourage all in the group to do the best. In a group discussion, will let ladies be in one or two if they are many and men be in their group but this as well is on one's will meaning any lady can choose in which group she want to share her experinces freely. I will encourage ladies to be in a group of ladies because this way, one may expressed hershelf well meaning in this group there will be no fear, not like in a mixed group of men and ladies where ladies may fear to expressed her idea because of fear of men.

Defination of learning group: Is a group of 2-5 people agreed at a certain time to share their experinces physically or via computer/internet surported net work for acheivable goal.
What is a good charesteristic of a good learning group:
A good learning group should be,

-Individual should be responsible
-Should have leader to facilitate the meeting.
-Should have rules/regulations
-All are to be comfortable.
-organised.

What would I do to improve my practice as a Tutor of VTC.
This question can direct me to how and what can i do to improve my daily practice.
There are many things involves in this process:
a) Approach
b) Presentation skills
c) Communication knowledge
d) Documentation.
a) Approach
As a teacher in a vocational Training Center, and as in SLC, I have to prepare and appaouch students in a good way from entrance, indroduction by me to students and students to me and the rest. Together withe learners draw the plan of what the students, want to learn, in this way learning will take place both side means the students, facilitator and the students will learn for life because he/she constibutated in the solutions.

Had a meeting 6/11/09.
Done:
Had presentation on what we learnt in the learning groups -YVTC.
Each learning group presented what they had done.
Learnt:
I learnt in this meeting that, learning is self interest.
I learnt that learning is a selt discovery in open consultation, this is from books, group discussion as in the meeting.
That learning depend on sharing with others.
Smart to do:
have free consultations, group discussions.

IMPROVEMENT OF MY PRACTICE

I had a meeting with YVTC staff:
Agenda:
- Graduation date.
- Graduation budget--2009.
In the meeting we agreed on the date of the graduation together with the staff in open discusion mean everyboy in the meeting contributed ideas and suggestion on when the date of the graduation should be. The concusion after many constributions, we agreed that the date of the graduation is to be on 5/11/2009.
Graduation budgetting.
The budgetting was done, first by listing the requirement, costof every item and we concluded by getting the total cost.
